Honda CB550 K1 1975 Restoration/Modification Custom
I purchased the bike in 2015. 6 Previous owners. Originally a US bike. First registered in the UK in 1995. V5 in my name. The bike is registered as a historic vehicle, which makes it exempt from Tax and MOT. The last MOT in 2015 had approx 25000 miles on the clock. The bike has had a full engine rebuild since then and only recently a top end rebuild and all appears in good working condition. The bike is also exempt from ULEZ and congestion charges, which makes it a great bike for the city (if you are London based).
The bike has undergone a top to bottom refresh. A restoration/modification, which retains a lot of the original charm, whilst upgrading and simplifying certain aspects of the bike. It starts and runs great. The frame has not been cut, so nothing would stop you restoring this bike to the original spec. So much work has gone into the bike since I have owned it, that it is hard to list everything here. But I will try:
