For sale is my 1979 GS850G, a 4 cylinder shaft drive tourer with 43,650 miles on the clock. The bike is in lovely condition and everything works as it should. It is largely original and very straight. In 1979, the GS850G had both kick start and electric start, both of which effortlessly start the bike. It runs like a dream and has recently had new Avon Roadmaster Mk 2 tyres, a new Delkevic 4 into 1 exhaust, new battery, and new indicators all around. The flexi brake pipes have also been renewed, and the bike has Dyna S electronic ignition in place of the old points. The bike comes with heated hand grips on black Renthal bars, 2 sets of keys for ignition and fuel cap, a Haynes manual, and is kept inside on an optimiser. It is registered as Historic, so no tax or MOT is required, although an MOT could be put on the bike if preferred. This is a chance to buy an appreciating classic. Contact me to arrange a viewing.
