This is a 1978 Yamaha XS650 Special that has been imported from the US and has a Nova showing all duties paid. The bike is in fairly good condition and would make an easy restoration project, as it starts and runs both on the button and the kick start. The mag wheels look amazing, and it would make an ideal doner bike for a custom build, or it can be recommissioned and used as is. This is a matching numbers example and is very original, with lovely condition mag wheels and tin work. The tank is in great condition, as are the front forks, and the seat is very tidy. The engine sounds superb. These are great bikes and are only going up in value, as it’s becoming difficult to find original examples as most have been customized by now.
