1978 Yamaha RD 250 D is a UK bike from new with matching engine and frame numbers. The bike underwent a professional refurbishment a few years ago by Bikes Restored.com, who have restored hundreds of classic bikes and are known for their top-notch work. The frame, swing arm, and other parts were powder coated and the tank and panels were repainted. The bike has undergone a full engine rebuild and has only been ridden a few times since the refurbishment, covering only 3200 miles. The standard exhausts and recent rear Avon Roadrider tyre, along with fresh gearbox Castrol oil, make this bike ready to ride. It is registered as a historic vehicle and is exempt from tax and MOT. Everything works as it should and the bike rides great. The owner is willing to deliver if not too far away and is also open to private agreement on a set of mint chrome high-speed expansion chambers for the bike.
