1978 Honda Cb750k Four Unregistered Us Import Classic Running Restoration

This well-respected, and very much sought-after Tax & MOT exempt 1978 Honda CB750K Four K has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. This and the fact it’s only showing 7359 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks.

While it looks entirely plausible, we have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES……..As you can see this bike is remarkably original & nearly complete missing just the battery. It has stood a while so the fuel tank is a bit mucky inside. Sadly, the fuel tank has a dent on the r/h rear corner & the r/h side panel has been repaired.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS………This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures from 45 years ago & it is every bit as nice as it looks here…..A great find!. The wheels look straight with nice clean chrome rims, good hubs & brake plate, disc, caliper & working master cylinder. Forks & yokes look straight & clean. Mudguards are both solid & are very tidy. Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments & switches look good. Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip. Exhausts are original HM 405 items and are solid & presentable. Seat is in very good condition throughout. Indicators are tidy. The engine is cosmetically very clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression BUT BEST OF ALL when we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel, gave it a few prods it fires, starts, runs & revs.
