This rare, professionally built 1978 R80/7 BMW bike has been modified and upgraded by Scriminger Engine Developments. It boasts a twin-spark, 980cc engine with 10.5:1 Mahle pistons, a retimed 10-50-50-10 RS cam, 38mm Dellorto PHM38BS carbs, a bespoke 38mm 2 into 1 exhaust, and a lightweight sintered clutch. The 5-speed gearbox has been close-ratioed and the flywheel has been lightened and balanced. Other upgrades include a Lithium-Ion battery, Acewell speedo, LED tail light and indicators, modified fuel tank, bespoke fairing and seat, K100RS Motorsport front forks, Hagon rear shocks, Brembo brake calipers and front discs, and custom-painted Akront rims. The bike has been owned for 6 years and is known for being fast, loud, and eye-catching.
