As you can see this bike is missing it’s original Vetta luggage & fairing. There is no battery fitted either. It has stood a while, so the master cylinders are not working & front wheel rim is slightly rust pitted.
But now for the good news………This is the actual bike you are bidding on – not library pictures from 45 years ago & it is every bit as nice as it looks here…..A true time warp machine!. The wheels are straight with clean rear chrome rim, good looking discs & calipers. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome & clean alloy. Mudguards are both solid & are tidy. Taillight assy is good as are the headlight bowl & hangers. Instruments & switches look great. Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip. Paintwork is solid, fuel tank is useably clean & coated inside and has fresh fuel in it. Exhausts are original & solid. Seat is in good condition throughout & hides the entire airbox & toolkit. Rear indicators are tidy. Chain guard is tidy. The engine is cosmetically very clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression but best of all when we hooked it up to a good battery, gave it a few prods it fires, starts, runs & revs.
