UPDATE……i collect yamaha bikes and bikes from 80/90’s and Harris parts i UNDERSTAND THE TIME OF YEAR WITH MONEY ETC….so i would take px or swap also workshop machines in Px aswell cause i can use them… lathes etc… i collect yzf750 FZR TZR even ZXR etc road and race stuff harris spondon etc
here is my cb360 cafe racer,i bought it during lockdown ..well because i liked the look of the thing i brought it home changed the rear shocks to new hagon also painted the exhausts matt black and changed the inlet rubbers on the carbs to new one’s and from there i must of done less than 100 miles on it and it sounds amazing.
So long story short great bike its just not for me the way classic bikes ain ‘t for me with their brakes and how i like to ride and plus i collect yamaha’s i’ve had it wrapped up under covers in my workshop for the last year i take it out every few months turn it over pump up the tyres and move it around but been busy last month or so with work so battery is flat { going try hook up and other battery get it fired up if i get 5 mins}
There a small bit of paint reaction on the tank
its a 1975 so there no road tax or MOT needed on this bike so really is free motoring and as shown on the V5 only 4 owners yes 4 OWNERS it doesn’t need for anything [apart from battery] as i said it’s had new tyres new shocks and new carb rubbers
as far as i know the tank is xbr500 the seat unit is off a classic ducati it’s has bigger mikuni carbs from Allen’s the carb specialists it has some nice reasets fitted i got the new rubbers from them the engine was totally rebuilt when the bike was converted to cafe racer as last owner told me and when i looked it over you could see all the new gaskets had been fitted to the engine
if you don’t know these were only made for a few years very like cb350 but have 6 speed gearbox and as the name suggests couple extra CC but as i’ve found alot same parts and spares from its sister 350 can fit the bike and there a great parts network in the uk for these
