For sale is a 1973 Triumph TR7 Tiger, a cool classic motorcycle that has just arrived from California. The bike has already had all duties and taxes paid, and is tax and MOT exempt so it can be road registered. A new battery has been fitted and the bike sounds great, but it would still benefit from a service as it has been sitting for about 6 months.
The bike has been slightly altered into a cafe racer style with low clip-ons, a Corbin seat, Works Performance shocks, and Dunstall exhaust. These are nice upgrades and the bike looks great with them. The paintwork is lovely for its age with some minor marks, but nothing major, and the fuel taps are working well. The chrome work is overall good with some light pitting that could be removed with a good detail. The forks have some pitting and will need rechroming. The tyres are all round and in good and usable condition.
The front brake will need a service kit, and the engine is out of a TR6 650. The bike in general doesn’t need much at all, just an overall recommission/service will do it. This is a valuable bike with increasing prices, so it’s a great investment opportunity.
