1973 Honda CB750K3 Unregistered US Import Barn Find Classic Restoration Project
This well-respected and much sought after 1973 Honda CB750K3 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.
We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.
The single most important purchase for a classic restoration project is the bike to restore, whether it’s going to be a commercial venture or just a hobby interest it all starts here!
PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES…….. As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – ignition barrell, battery, seat lock and ignition key being the most obvious. We noted that there is a small dent in the tank and sadly all 4 silencers have holes rotten through.
BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS……… The wheels are straight with just a few rust spots of the chrome rims, good disc, caliper but only the rear brake is working. The forks and yokes look straight with good chrome. The tail light assy is good as are the headlight and bowl. Instruments and switches look ok. The paintwork is quite bright but has a few marks, fuel tank is squeaky clean inside. The seat base is in good condition throughout. The indicators are tidy. The chain guard is tidy. Both mud guards are straight and bright. The engine is cosmetically clean. We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.
