1973 Honda CB 750 K2
For sale is my 1973 Honda CB750 K2, first registered in August 1973.
The bike runs very well and has had many new parts, though it is not fully restored. The chrome is in great condition, with two original upper exhausts and two lower David Silver replacements. The gold body parts were repainted before my ownership and are in very good condition, as is the seat.
I had the carbs professionally refurbished for £400, and have replaced the complete front brake, including the hose. The bike also has new throttle cables, handle grips, and fork seals, all purchased from David Silver. The tyres have plenty of tread, and the chain is in good condition. I have also fitted an LED headlight, which is bright and puts less strain on the charging system.
The bike comes with aftermarket replacement clocks, but I also have the original clocks to sell with the bike. The frame has some areas of corrosion, and the engine enamel is not perfect, but otherwise, the bike is in very good condition for its age.
The bike has a lot of power and is very smooth to ride. It is a historic vehicle, so it does not require an MOT or road tax.
I have a stack of receipts going back years, and the bike still has its original tax disc from 1973.
I am selling the bike because it has become too heavy for me. No test rides without cash on the table, and the bike can be seen near Andover. Cash or BACs payments are accepted. Please contact me through eBay for more information.
Regards,
Simon.
