For sale is a 1973 BSA Bantam D14/4 motorcycle. This bike is a light project that has undergone some work and received a once-over from the Norfolk Motorcycle Museum. Despite some occasional cutting out during runouts, the bike starts right up after a quick re-prime and runs well for the most part.

The carburetor has been ultrasonically cleaned and reseated on a thermal gasket, and the wheels have some surface rust but are still solid. The bike also comes with a new 6V battery and charger, although the seller feels that the cutting out may still be related to the carburetor. There is a small oil weep from the left side engine casing after a run, but this does not appear to impact the bike’s performance.

The seller is selling the bike due to work and family commitments that will not allow them to spend time on the project. The auction will run to the end, and the seller is not accepting PayPal as a form of payment.
