For sale is a beautiful 1972 SUZUKI GT550 with a double drum brake on the front and a classic choke lever on the left handlebar. The bike has done 16.5k miles from new and is in great condition, with mostly very good chrome, a few marks and pitting on the RH exhaust, and recent paintwork costing around £800. The bike has also been assembled with a lot of new screws and parts, and the wheels appear to have been rebuilt on stainless steel spokes. The saddle has a very recent cover, and while the dashboard dial lenses are showing their age, they are still remarkably clear. The bike is tax and MOT exempt, and the sound of the exhaust will turn heads as one of the last great two strokes. The only reason for sale is due to the owner’s replacement knee joint not allowing for comfortable riding.
