1972 BSA A65 Lightning Matching Numbers Spares or Repair Project

This is a 1972 BSA A65 Lightning with matching engine and frame numbers (A65L JG00533). The engine turns over but it is stuck in gear and it is suspected that the gear change spring has gone. The bike has chromed covers with no dents, but it is missing the right rocker box cover. The seat is scruffy, the frame has a welding repair on the loop, and the rear mudguard has a vibration crack in the middle. The wheel rims are Dunlop and have light corrosion marks, the spokes are good but the bike will need new tires. The clock faces show 12,197 miles and the forks move well but the stanchions show light rust and wear marks. The tank has light rust marks inside but no visible dents. The seller will accept bank transfer only and the bike must be collected in person.
