For sale is a Yamaha Cs3, an early example of Yamaha’s popular RD200 series of bikes. It features a twin 2-stroke 200cc engine that produces around 22BHP and has a top speed just short of 90mph. The bike comes standard with electric starter, direction indicators, adjustable rear suspension, adjustable steering damper, twin leading front brake, and autolube.
This particular bike is in presentable condition with only 16k miles from new. It is a UK bike from new with only 6 owners in 52 years. The electric start works as it should and the engine starts straight away on the button, hot or cold. The bike has just had both wheels completely refurbished and the tank is clean with no rot. The bike rides as it should and goes through all the gears precisely. It runs off of the autolube and the lights work.
The bike would make a great little summer ride and can be improved to your own standards while enjoying it. The engine has recently been rebuilt, but there is no evidence of this other than the engine itself with the usual tells. It runs great and sounds right.
