This is a 1971 Yamaha R5-B 350cc 2-stroke twin classic motorcycle. It’s a desirable lightweight and sporty air-cooled Yamaha finished in striking mandarin orange and white. The bike is an original matching numbers machine that was imported from the US a few years ago and is now UK road registered with current V5C.
It starts up easily and runs very well. This bike is best described as a good honest bike, mostly original apart from having a tank repaint at some time. It’s very presentable, although not perfect due to its age. You can ride and enjoy it as is or take it to the next level for a stunning concourse classic.
